It is a small city on the foothills of Parbati Mountains dotted with various Manikaran’s tourist places . Situated at an altitude of 1760m above sea level, Manikaran in Kullu is a quaint town geographically lies 4km ahead of Kasol. It is a 2 and a half hour drive from Manali to Manikaran as well. It is a beautiful, pollution-free valley that is the site of various mythological stories, encounters and beliefs. It is famously said for Manikaran, that if you visit it in your lifetime, you do not require to visit Kashi, another important Hindu pilgrimage site for Hindus.
