Today we start early and drive to Dharampur Station which is about 10Kms from Kasauli. The Toy Train from Dharampur to Barog goes through thick jungle, tall trees and deep valleys that look beautiful in any season. This train journey is a major tourist attraction and is declared a World Heritage by UNESCO. We return to Kasauli in the evening.
Early morning we visit the Krishna Bhavan Mandir. This is a unique tourist attraction because it is a Hindu temple built like a Church. Then we proceed to see the Mohan Meakin Brewery, also called Kasauli Tour Package. This was the first brewery established in India in the year 1820 by the British.
Evening is time for shopping on the Lower Mall Road. There are many shops selling handicrafts and woollen items, flavoured wines and fruit jams. Enjoy dinner of Band Samosa with chole, sidu (local bread), khuskhus halwa, Tibetan dumplings and thukpa.
